Bear Tracks Art

About the Artist...

I have always been very rustic and had a creative spirit,  Oil painting and pen and ink have always been my passion.   Creating pieces from memory or just by looking at a photo has always come easy to me.  Then I was attending the Great Lakes Wood Carvers Show a few years ago, as a demo instructor, is where I found my passion for wood burning.   I had never wood burned before, but was to demo it...was hooked.

I am a proud member of the Great Lakes Wood Carvers, the Western Reserve Wood Carvers Guild, and Vice President of the Parma Area Fine Arts Council (PAFAC).  If you feel you have a creative side and would like to try painting, I am the PAFAC acrylic instructor.  Classes are held at the Donna Smallwood Senior Center in Parma, Ohio on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:30 p.m.

My business has been very successful and has been in operation for 7 years now.  A 14 year resident of Old Brooklyn, giving back to the community in many ways.  If you visit the Riverside Gatehouse located at I 71 and W. 25th, then stop in and see the original pencil sketching of this beautiful, historical building.

If you visit the Cleveland MetroParks Zoo, look at the new Fulton Road Bridge.  The Fulton Road Bridge pen and ink original was donated to the Old Brooklyn Community Developement Corp for their 50th Anniversary.  This piece was displayed in the Primate building of the zoo and then later auctioned off to one lucky winner.  From the BCCA Garden Tour, to  the countless projects done to support my community, I have been very busy.

I have shown art work in various galleries around Tremont, Cleveland and Parma area. If you should stop in and have an awesome steakburger at Dee's Restaraunt, then look up on the wall, what will you see?

I enjoy what I do, everyday is a creative challenge,

Peace,

Michelle
